Care Home bags ‘Good’ in latest CQC inspection

We’re proud to have received a ‘Good’ rating from our latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.

CQC is the independent regulator of Healthcare and Adult Social Care Services in England, making sure registered care homes meet government standards of quality and safety.

As part of the inspection, CQC looked at the improvements made since the last inspection (report published 9th February 2023) and confirmed that the management team had worked hard to improve the standards of care and support.

The inspection detailed positive feedback from residents and staff while noting the home’s calm and friendly feel.

Adam Holmes, Home Manager at Marina Care Home, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to receive this rating which is great recognition for the hard work and dedication of our staff.

“This achievement reflects the continuous effort and commitment we put into providing the highest standard of care and support to all our residents.

“We couldn’t have achieved this without the unwavering trust and support from our residents and their families. Thank you for choosing Marina Care Home as your home, and for being an essential part of our close-knit community.”
